NAB Chief seeks Saudi style anti corruption power, challenges 3 weeks time to recover entire looted wealth

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau Chief seeks Saudi style anticorruption power, challenges three weeks time to recover entire lootedwealth of the country.

As per the media report, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) ChairmanJustice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Thursday said that if he is given the powers,which are available to the anti-corruption authorities in Saudi Arabia, hecan bring back all the looted money back to Pakistan in the shortestpossible time.

“The Saudi authorities took four weeks to recover the looted wealth and hewould accomplish the task in just three weeks,” he claimed while addressingtraders and manufacturers at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers ofCommerce and Industry (FPCCI) in Karachi.

“Times have changed. Now even those corrupt people have been sent behindthe bars about whom nobody had ever imagined so,” Javed Iqbal said, addingthat everybody would have to reap what he would sow.
