Malaysian Defence Minister lauds Pakistan Navy for maritime security

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian Defence Minister YB Tuan Haji Mohamad bin Sabu onFriday admired Pakistan Navy’s effort for maritime security.

Naval Chief Zafar Mahmood Abbasi held meetings with the Malaysian defenceminister and Naval Chief Admiral Datuk Mohamad Reza bin Mohamad Sany inKuala Lumpur.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and matters ofmutual interests. The two sides stressed on the need of joint navalexercises between Malaysia and Pakistan.

On the occasion, Naval Chief Zafar Mahmood Abbasi highlighted efforts madeby Pakistan Navy for regional security especially the regional maritimesecurity patrol. He thanked Malaysian Defence Minister and Naval Chief forparticipating in AMAN exercises.
