LAHORE – Former Law Minister Punjab and reportedly declared mastermind ofModel town massacre Rana Sanaullah may be arrested as authorities havedecided to open the case again him.
As per the media report, a case against the Model Town ‘mastermind’ RanaSanaullah is expected to open soon.
“Rana Sanaullah was the mastermind of Model Town tragedy. Azam Suleiman,who was the home secretary at the time of Model Town tragedy, had opposedthe operation and expressed his concerns about the possible massacre,
Rana Sanaullah took it on his ego and ordered to continue the operation,”police sources said.

All the police officers involved in this operation had opposed butcontinued it on the orders of the then Provincial Law Minister RanaSanaullah, sources added.
According to these sources, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) governmentissued orders to dismiss all the police officers involved in the operationand take the legal action against them.
