MUZAFFARABAD (APP): Hundreds of local lawyers Tuesday marched towards Line of Control (LoC) at Chakothi town to express solidarity with people of Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) who have been facing curfew for the last 87 days and the atrocities of Indian army.

The march was organized by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) which was participated by lawyers of all the districts.
The march was also supported by civil society and traders organizations.
President Supreme Court Bar Association Hazoor Imam Kazmi Advocate said the same march was initiated from Srinagar by lawyers of IOK and both will meet at Chakothi if allowed to cross LOC.
He said the Kashmir High Court Bar Association’s President Mian Abdul Qayoom Advocate was leading the lawyers march from Srinagar towards LOC to highlight Indian brutalities and lawlessness in IOK.

He said the people in IOK were under siege, and curfew, while dozens of youth have been killed but the international community was still silent.
