Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI chairman, has taken legal action to secureprotective bail in order to prevent her potential arrest in a case. Thismove transpired on Monday when she filed a petition in the Lahore HighCourt (LHC) to address this pressing concern. In her petition, she hasnamed the federal government, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), theFederal Investigation Agency (FIA), and other entities as respondents.
Bushra Bibi firmly asserted her status as the spouse of the former primeminister and expressed her belief that her husband had been subjected topolitical victimization. She alleged that various institutions, includingthe FIA and Punjab Police, had unjustly lodged unfounded cases against her,placing her in a situation she described as “political victimization.”
She further contended that no cases had been registered against her priorto June 2022 and requested the high court to compel the relevantauthorities to furnish comprehensive information regarding both disclosedand undisclosed cases filed against her after this specific date.

In her plea before the LHC, she implored the court to prohibit theauthorities from arresting her in any case until she receives completedetails regarding all these cases.
