*LAHORE – Lahore was submerged due to heavy intermittent spell of monsoonon Friday. *
The rainfall started at 5:30am and continued till midday, batteringmultiple areas of the city. Due to torrential rains, streets turned intoponds as well as the roof of the Assembly Secretariat also started dripping.
Following the rain, main roads in neighbourhoods such as Walton, Shadbagh,Gulberg, Lakshmi Chowk, Garhi Shahu and Mughalpura were inundated withrainwater.
