LAHORE – A statement has been issued regarding the third round of Kartarpurtransit opening. India handed over dossier to Pakistani side over demandsfrom the Delhi.
Pakistan, in response to the Indian dossier, handed over a comprehensivedossier to India.
According to the statement, issues related to the cards were discussed toSikh pilgrims from Pakistan and India.
Pakistan agreed to allow 5,000 pilgrims a pilgrimage daily.
Pakistan also agreed to increase the number of Sikh pilgrims on specialoccasions, the statement added.
Earlier, Foreign Office spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal said that technicalissues on Kartarpur transit have been completed, India will have todemonstrate flexibility, will open transit in November, the final meetingof the agreement will be in Pakistan.
A 19-member delegation of Pakistan was led by Foreign Ministry Dr Faisal tohold talks on Kartarpur transit.
