Former Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah lands in big trouble

SUKKUR – Former Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah lands in big troubleas NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) Sukkur on Tuesday sought approval from itsheadquarter to start formal investigation against Pakistan people’s Party(PPP) leader.

After approval from the chairman NAB, Shah would be summoned to Bureau’sSukkur office.

NAB has asked Deputy Commissioners of 27 districts to submit details ofproperties associated with Khurshid Shah.

Sources said till now two DCs have submitted the record and others aregiven a reminder to submit details.

Letters have been written to Commissioners of Sukkur, Islamabad, Lahore andRawalpindi under anti money laundering act. Letters sought details ofassets of Shah’s son, daughters and wife. NAB sources said warrants againstPPP leader not issued yet.
