RAWALPINDI – Responding to a question during his press conference, DG ISPRMajor General Asif Ghafoor said Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa didnot want extension in his service.
He revealed that we convinced him to accept the Prime Minister’s decisionbecause he has personal rapport with world powers including China.
He said General Bajwa accepted the decision in view of regional andsecurity situation.
Speaking about Defence and Martyrs Day to be observed on Friday, theDirector General urged people to reach out to the families of the martyrsto pay homage and honor the great sacrifices they rendered for the defenceof the motherland.
