ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned all the parliamentariansover the issue of political interference in the administration affairs.
He has directed parliamentarians not to cause hindrance in administrativematters after at least two lawmaker were accused of interferring.
Chakwal Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Saghir Shahid had accused PTI MNAlinkAli Khan of interfering in official matters.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Rajanpur has also written against an MNA tothe Chief Secretary.
DC Chakwal Ghulam Saghir Shahid alleged that MNA Zulfiqar Ali pressurisedhim to transfer/post 17 officials of the Revenue Department.
Naaemul Haq, special assistant to the prime minister, said Imran expresseddispleasure on the incident and warned lawmakers against pressurising localadministrations.
DC Chakwal said that MNA Zulfiqar Ali first came to his office andpressurized him to transfer/post 17 officials and then telephoned him onSeptember 3 and asked to transfer/post Revenue Department officialsincluding Girdawars and Patwaris.
