ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has been offered a personalhelicopter by an overseas Pakistani who feels ashamed when PM Khan iscriticised over use of official helicopter.

A Pakistani-Canadian national, Khalid Malik, on Tuesday expressedwillingness to gift Prime Minister Imran Khan a helicopter after he cameunder fire from all quarters for using official aircraft from PM Office tohis Bangigala–a distance of mere 15 kilometre.

Malik decided to make this offer to the premier because of the “undesirablecriticism” against the PM that “embarrassed him and other overseasPakistanis”.

“After having seen the undesirable criticism against Imran Khan for usinga helicopter, I hereby announce a gift of a helicopter including fuel grantfor Imran Khan’s use provided that the media and all political parties stopcribbing about his air travels,” said Malik in a message being circulatedon WhatsApp.

“If my proposal is agreed upon by all the concerned persons, then theprincipal secretary of the PM may contact me on my mobile number,” hewrote, requesting reshares of his message so it could reach the PM.
