*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan 16-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2018 hasbeen announced.*
Veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been dropped from the squad whileShan Masood made his return to the side.
Announcing the squad in Lahore, the Chief Selector cleared that Hafeez isincluded in 20 member probable squad for the 2019 World Cup.
“This time we have given chance to Shan Masood because he is in ourprobable squad too. As far as Hafeez is concerned he is meeting outcriteria. He should not get disappointed he is in our plans,” he added.
Commenting on Imad Wasim, he said he hasn’t passed fitness test. “if youwant to play for Pakistan you should be fit.”
