*LONSON – Facebook users across the World faced outages as the social medianetworking site faced technical glitches.*
*Facebook on Monday said a technical problem prevented some users fromaccessing and posting on the social network as well as messaging appWhatsapp and Instagram, and it had mostly fixed the issue.*
People took to Twitter, reporting about the outages across Facebookplatforms which were later restored.
“Earlier today, a networking issue caused some people to have troubleaccessing or posting to various Facebook services. We quickly investigatedand started restoring access, and we have nearly fixed the issue foreveryone. We’re sorry for the inconvenience,” Facebook spokesman JayNancarrow said.
The hashtag #FacebookDown was trending on Twitter.
