LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz while chairing a meeting of PML-N women counsellors has said the campaigns for NA-120 should be expedited. She also told the participants Kulsoom Nawaz will be among them soon.

Maryam was chairing a meeting in Model Town regarding campaigns for NA-120. She kicked-off the campaigns in late August, which her mother Kulsoom Nawaz was unable to participate in.

However, after successful recovery from the surgery for the lymphoma she was diagnosed with, Kulsoom Nawaz is said to be recovering.Kulsoom Nawaz was diagnosed with throat cancer after she reached London.

She had left when her nomination papers for the by-election were to be scrutinised by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
