ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday barredestablishment division from the transfer of DG Federal Investigation Agency(FIA) Bashir Memon till the completion of probe in Asghar Khan case.

A three member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Mian SaqibNisar has directed Federal Investigation Agency to bust the groups involvedin women trafficking. The bench was hearing a case pertaining totrafficking of women to Afghanistan.

The CJP remarked that a media hype occurred a day before regarding Memon’stransfer. “The secretary establishment should be told that strict actionwill be taken against violation of court’s orders,” he maintained.

On the occasion, the Director General FIA informed the court about thesteps being taken for recovery of women trafficked to Afghanistan.
