NEW DELHI – Indian tennis star Sania Mirza comes under fire from Indiansfor congratulating Pakistan over World Cup victory.
Sania Mirza was at the receiving end of some trolls once again after shecongratulated the Pakistan cricket team on their thumping win againstEngland in World Cup 2019 on Monday.
Pakistan stunned hosts England by 14 runs in Nottingham to register theirfirst win of the tournament. The win ended Pakistan’s 11-match losingstreak in ODIs which also included the 4-0 series defeat against Englandjust before the World Cup commenced on May 30.
Sania Mirza, who is married to all-rounder Shoaib Malik, took to socialmedia to congratulate Pakistan team.
