*ISLAMABAD – A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad onTuesday discussed the budget for the next fiscal year.*
The prime minster was given a detailed briefing regarding the revenue andexpenditures. During the meeting, the consultations were made regarding tothe next budget.
The meeting was attended amongst others by Adviser on Finance Abdul HafeezSheikh, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood, Minister for PlanningKhusro Bakhtiar, Minister of State for Revenue Hamad Azhar, SpecialAssistant Sania Nishtar and Federal Board Revenue (FBR) Chairman ShabbarZaidi.
They also exchanged the views on financial matters in the meeting.
A day earlier,* Federal Cabinet*linkendorsed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resolve for holding across the boardaccountability with the approach that no one is above the law.
