*SRINAGAR, MAY 04 (PTK):* The Sri Lankan army chief Mahesh Senanayake hasalleged that few of the suicide bombers who carried out attacks on EasterSunday had visited Kashmir, Kerala and Bengaluru in India to possibly betrained in carrying out terrorist activities.
Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake said that the exact reason for theirvisit is not yet known, but it is suspected that the attackers hadtravelled to India to also establish links with other terroristorganisations. The army chief in an interview with the BBC said theterrorists had travelled to Bangalore, Kashmir and Kerala according to theinformation they have.
Meanwhile, central intelligence agencies are investigating the case of acar travelling with three passengers which was halted for possessing asticker bearing the image of Osama Bin Laden.
Security has been tightened in south Indian states, owing to theprobability of a terror attack in the area. The Kerala DGP said that thestate police has been on high alert ever since the Sri Lanka blasts. (PTK)
