Pakistan – Qatar to enhance ties in field of international civil aviation

KARACHI: The delegations representing the Aeronautical Authorities ofPakistan and Qatar met here to discuss the aviation relations between thetwo states.

The Pakistani delegation was led by the Senior Joint Secretary AviationDivision Abdul SattarKhokar and the Qatar delegation was led by theDirector of Air Transport Department of the Qatar Civil Aviation AuthorityMohamed FalehAlhajri.

During the round of negotiations, air service matters between the twoStates were discussed at length and newer avenues for the mutual benefit ofBoth States in the field of International Civil Aviation were explored inlight of the vision contained in the National Aviation Policy – 2019, whichhas been approved by the Federal Government. Pakistan and Qatar agreed tocontinue consultations to work together closely to promote the aviationindustries of both States.

The Pakistan delegation consisted of Officers of Aviation Division AbdulSattarKhokhar and Sheikh Noor Muhammad, Officers of Pakistan CAA AirCommodore NasirRazaHamdani, Air Commodore IrfanSabir, Syed MuzaffarAlam,Muhammad SulemanGhouri and Officers from airlines of Pakistan AliTahirQasim, Raheel Ahmed and Mustafa Aleem.

Qatar Delegation consisted of Officers of Qatar CAA Mohamed FalehAlhajri,Hassan AlTamimi and Officers of Qatar Airways FathiAtti, Salam AlSamarrieand Dr. Tanveer Ahmad.
