*RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visitedNorthern Light Infantryman (NLI) Battalion along the Line of Control (LOC)on Saturday.*

According to the ISPR, the COAS hailed state of operational readiness, highmorale and motivation of the troops.

He appreciated a befitting response to provocative Indian fire despiterestraints on Pakistan Army due to safety and security of Kashmiris alongthe LOC.

COAS Qamar Bajwa said: “We are well aware of defence and securitychallenges being faced by the country and we are capable to defeat allthreats ‘irrespective of the front’.”

Commander Rawalpindi Corps also accompanied COAS Qamar Bajwa.

Earlier on April 30, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwavisited Frontier Force Regimental Centre, Abbottabad.

During his visit, the army chief installed Lieutenant General Aamir Abbasias Colonel Commandant of the FF Regiment, said the ISPR.
