LAHORE – Punjab Assembly unanimously accepted the resolution seeking a banon celebrities for hosting Ramazan transmissions.
The House requested the federal government and Pakistan Electronic MediaRegulatory Authority (PEMRA) to invite religious scholars to the Ramazanprogrammes instead of focusing on the actors.
The resolution was submitted by Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party’s parliamentaryleader Maulana Muhammad Muavia Azam.
