ISLAMABAD: Former Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has slapped a policeman here at today, deployed at outside court for security to stop him for searching.
As per details, Head Constable Riaz, deployed outside the court F-8 stopped Nayyar Bukhari for searching due to security concerns when he was entering in the court.
Nayyar Hussain got angry on the act of policeman and slapped him while he also warned policeman for disrespecting him and entered in the court forcefully.
On the other hand, Margala SHO said that case has been filed against Nayyar Bukhari for interfering with official work and no one is above the law while strict actions would be taken against him.
According to law experts, Nayyar could face punishment of imprisonment for three years and fine for slapping on duty policeman.
IG Islamabad Tariq Masood Yasin has also taken notice of the matter and ordered to arrest ex-chairman Nayyar Bukhari for slapping policeman.
IG further added that security personnel are offering their duties with responsibility and offering sacrifices so such kind of behaviour with them would not be tolerated at any cost.
We are all accountable before law, IG added vowing to set an example of this case in future.
