*ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of PakistanTehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Board on Tuesday. *
According to sources privy to the matter, Imran Khan will chair the meetingof the parliamentary board which would consult over ticket distribution inthe next election.
The developments came after President of Pakistan Arif Alvi approved anadvice from Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding dissolution of NationalAssembly.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter and said that underArticle 224 of the Constitution, the prime minister will continue toperform his duties while federal cabinet stands dissolved.
