Lahore: Former Test cricketer Mudassar Nazar has called for a change inPakistan T20I captaincy to relieve pressure from current skipper Babar Azam.
The prolific run-getter has had great success in the shortest format of thegame, where he so far has captained the Men-in-Green in 40 matches –winning 29, losing nine while five ended in no result.
However, speaking to Cricket Pakistan, Nazar claimed that despite asuccessful run, Babar should not be leading the Pakistan side in T20Is.
“If it was up to me, I would replace Babar with Rizwan for T20Is.Definitely,” Nazar said.
