Afghan Taliban government successfully dismantle IS network in Afghanistan

The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, said that theactivities of Daesh have been prevented in Afghanistan and that the grouphas not been able to conduct any attack in the country within recent months.

He made the remarks to the Chinese media, according to the Foreign Ministryspokesman.

He once again pledged that the Afghan soil will not be threat to any othercountry.

“Daesh had no operations in the last four months. We could say thatAfghanistan is a secure country right now and we are committed to thepledges we made to the world, the pledge that Afghanistan’s soil would notbe used against any country,” he said.

Muttaqi called his recent visit to China constructive. In late March adelegation of the Islamic Emirate, led by acting Minister Muttaqi visitedChina, where they held several round of talks with top diplomats and envoysof foreign countries.

He also said that the Islamic Emirate calls for economic policy tofacilitate investment in Afghanistan.
