ISLAMABAD – The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal Maulana Fazalur Rehmanmet with Shukrullah Atif Mashal, the Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan.
The Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad in a statement said the meetingtook place earlier today in which current regional situation, Afghan peaceprocess, and bilateral relations between Kabul and Islamabad were discussed.
The statement further added that the two sides emphasized that peaceprocess should be led and owned by Afghans.
They also added that the regional and other countries should respect thesovereignty of Afghanistan and prevent from interference in internalaffairs of each other. The remarks came in the backdrop of PM Imran Khancomments on Afghanistan elections Process.
