ECC meeting jn Islamabad takes important decisions

The Economic Coordination Committee has approved technical supplementarygrants worth over 190 million rupees for various projects.

The ECC, which met in Islamabad with Finance Minister Dr. Abdul HafeezShaikh in the chair, gave approval to over 141 million rupees to Ministryof Information and Broadcasting for an expenditure incurred on mediacampaigns to create awareness among public during COVID-19 pandemic.

It also approved more than 9 million rupees for a media campaign onoccasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day to be observed tomorrow.

Besides, the meeting approved five million rupees, 25 million rupees andten million rupees respectively for Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Frontier CorpsBalochistan and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to procure spare partsfor helicopter maintenance.
