LAHORE: A passenger on board Manchester-bound Pakistan InternationalAirlines (PIA) flight suffered a cardiac arrest, forcing an emergencylanding at Copenhagen airport.

A spokesperson for the PIA said the flight -701 was on its way fromLahore to Manchester when a passenger complained of chest pain.

He said while the flight made an emergency landing at Copenhagen airport,the passenger died before he could be rushed to a hospital for emergencymedical care.

The body was shifted to an ambulance at the airport for onwardtransportation to a hospital and then the flight took off for Manchester.

The spokesperson said the deceased passenger was a British national and hisfamily members had been informed of his death.
