LAHORE – Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday told former primeminister Nawaz Sharif why he was ousted?

Talking to different delegations at Bilawal House here, the PPPco-chairperson said, “Mian sahib, you had become a burden on land so youwere ousted. This land is not ready to accept you.”

He said the Sharif brothers have destroyed the economy of the country andit was under huge debt, saying that the development projects completed bythe Sharif brothers were artificial and showpiece.

Zardari said he feared that artificial projects may explode like a bomb. Hesaid Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has become the CM of Lahoreinstead of Punjab.

Meanwhile, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and former chiefminister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi met Zardari and discussed Senate polls.
