KABUL – 10 soldiers have been killed in the Badakhshan province, Pajhwoknews has reported.
On the other hand A hundred militants have been eliminated in securityoperations across the country over the past 24 hours, the Ministry ofDefence (MoD) claimed on Sunday.
The fighters were killed in Faryab, Kandahar, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Helmand,Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces, MoD spokesman Dawlat Waziri was quotedas saying.
During the offensives, the security forces also seized weapons from theinsurgents, according to Waziri, who said nothing about casualties amongthe security forces.
