ANAKARA – Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has hinted at buying Militarytrainer aircrafts from Pakistan.
The discussions were held in this regard with the Pakistani delegation, ithas been revealed.
President Erdgan while in his address congratulated Prime Minister ImranKhan on his landslide victory in 2018 general elections. “Imran Khan has along political struggle to his credit; I congratulate him on his party’svictory in elections”, he said.
He also welcomed the Pakistani Supreme Court’s December 28 directive ofdeclaring Pak Turk schools organisations as terrorist entity.
Erdogan told that the details of his meeting with Afghan President AshrafGhani also came under discussion in his meeting Prime Minister Khan.
“I hope that the three-country meeting between Pakistan, Afghanistan andTurkey would help in finding a peaceful solution to Afghan crisis”, he said.
He also said that a possibility of procuring trainer aircrafts fromPakistan was also discussed in a meeting with the Pakistani delegation.
