RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army has conducted an intelligence based operation inthe North Waziristan agency.
One terrorist was killed by security forces during an intelligence-basedoperation in the Spinwam tehsil of North Waziristan, Inter-Service PublicRelations (ISPR) said on Friday.
Hand grenades, SMGs, spare magazines, and communication equipment wererecovered during the operation, the military’s media wing added.
Further, ISPR said that terrorist activity was foiled in Balochistan’sQilla Saifullah and Kahan districts. Weapons and ammunition were alsorecovered from the terrorists, ISPR added.

In another incident, Frontier Corps conducted an operation in the suburbsof Qila Saifullah and Kahan and foiled terrorist activities aimed to“sabotage peace” in Balochistan. Arms and ammunition were recovered duringthe operation.
Last week, four security officials were martyred and as many others werewounded while staving off a terrorist attack on a training centre of aparamilitary force in central Balochistan.
