ISLAMABAD - Pakistan women team’s head coach, Mark Coles has stepped down from his post on Thursday citing personal reasons.
Coles, who joined the Pakistan women team in 2017, said that it was a tough decision to make, but his family needs him at the moment.
“It was a pleasure to work with Pakistan women team, but my family needs me at the moment,” he said. “I have taken this decision after pondering over it for a long time.”
The New Zealander, who had a contract as women team’s head coach till Women’s World Cup 2020, will leave for New Zealand in the next week.
