QS Rankings: Top Universities of Pakistan revealed

ISLAMABAD - The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject has long been our primary yardstick for comparing universities. Considering the importance of these institutions in contributing to the literacy and economy of nations, it’s no wonder that academics and laymen alike await these rankings.
Like every other year, 2019 features university rankings for a grand total of 48 academic subjects. Pakistani institutes have also gained a fair amount of representation in this list, with some old names gaining a boost over last year, and some new ones making an entry.
National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has once again been featured in the list as the top Pakistani university in the domain of Engineering and Technology, thanks in large part to its internationally acclaimed foundation of research and academic development.
It has also featured prominently in the four disciplines of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems, Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering, and Physics and Astronomy. Furthermore, for the first time in its history, it has also been ranked by QS in the twin disciplines of Business and Management and Mathematics, according to the university’s press release. link
