KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) organized an event “Jaag Raha ha Pakistan” to pay tribute and express solidarity with the Government and Armed Forces of Pakistan here at the Federation House.
The event was graced by Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani and S. M. Muneer, a leading businessman and business community in large number. Dr.Abdul Qadeer Khan, Nuclear Scientist also addressed the event telephonically.
While paying tribute to Prime Minister Imran Khan and armed forces, FPCCI leader Mirza Ikhtair Baig said that business community is proud upon armed forces and appreciated the perfection capability of Pakistan Air Force. He also lauded the arbitrary role of United Nations and other friendly nations in resolving India- Pakistan tension.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan said the morale of the whole the nation is high as Pakistan is a nuclear power and no one has the courage to cast an evil eye on our country.
He said the whole nation stands with the armed forces and is confident that Pakistan will emerge victorious from the situation. He also urged the business community to play their due role in economic development and enhancement of exports.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani recalling the previous two wars with India said that the nation is united like a metal wall in 2019 as well. Pak Armed forces along with civilian have shown their resolve to defend Pakistan till their last drop of blood, he added.
Representing the business community, S. M. Muneer said that the people of both sides wants peace good relations but some elements in India creating tension for their personal gain.
The event was also addressed by Vice Presidents FPCCI Muslim Muhammedi, Noor Ahmed Khan, Arshad Jamal, Former President Zubair Tufail, Former Senior Vice President Khalid Tawab, Abdul Sami Khan, Senator Abdul Haseeb, Former Vice Presidents Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Shakeel Dhingra and other leading and prominent businessmen, officers of armed forces and government officials and paid tribute and solidarity to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Armed Forces of Pakistan and highlighted the achievement of previous India-Pakistan wars. Business Community also passed a resolution to pledge their support to the government and armed forces.
