LAHORE: (APP) The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) on Friday suspended licenses of 2,495 lawyers over failure to renew them.
According to PbBC Executive Committee Chairman Asmat Ali, the lawyers did not approach the council for renewal of their licences despite passing the time limit. He said the step was taken in accordance with rules.
He said if the licences were not renewed within one month then these would be cancelled.
