SRINAGAR: In June, 33 residents of Kashmir were killed by the Indian Army while 236 were injured.

According to the Kashmir Media Cell, another 176 people were arrested by the Indian Army and paramilitary forces during houses raids and crackdowns in June. Twenty-two houses were also damaged.

Three young men were killed in a fake encounter in Kupwara, according to research released by the organisation on July 1.
