CM Balochistan inaugurates new building of OPD in Civil Hospital

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan Saturday said provincial government was taking concrete measures to establish trauma center in each district hospital of province to provide healthcare facilities to masses.

He stated this while addressing an inaugural ceremony of the new building of Out Patients Department (OPD) here at Provincial Civil Hospital.

He said the completion of the new building of ODP in the Civil Hosptial would reduce the problems of the patients who would come to the hospital for treatments, adding emergency had been imposed in Health and education departments to improve performances of both sector for ensuring addressing of public’s problems.

He said efforts were underway to fill vacant posts of Health Department on merit basis and to reform drug regulation in province.

Jam Kamal said government’s aim was to provide the best health facilities to the people in Balochistan, adding that steps were being taken to improve presentations of sectors for ensuring sustainable development of the province.

He expressed his satisfaction on construction of new building of OPD.

He said no negligence would be tolerated in the health department and urged the doctors to perform their duties honestly.

The Chief Minister said Quetta Safe City Project had been ignored during six past years but now its work would be started on emergency bases for betterment of province.

He said for the first time the District Auction Committees were being formed and a mineral policy was being carried out throughout the province.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan inspected other sectors of Civil Hosptial after inauguration of new building OPD, where MS of the civil hospital briefed the Chief Minister regarding functional of different parts.
