Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says the government would soon make new anti-money laundering legislation, to hold accountable the elements involved in purchasing properties abroad through illegal transfer of money.
Addressing a ceremony in Multan, he said the government in its initial hundred days has set the direction and people would feel positive change after some time.
He said reforms are being introduced in almost all government departments as part of good governance.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said under the PTI government, diplomatic contacts have increased both at regional and international levels. He said consultative meetings with experts on foreign affairs are being arranged, while opinions of senior diplomats is also being sought to improve foreign relations.
