ISLAMABAD : Turkish Foreign Minister had arrived in Pakistan on one day visit. This was the first visit of Turkish Foreign Minister to Pakistan after the failed military coup in Turkey.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Tuesday met with Advisor to the Prime Minister (PM) on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz during his one-day trip to the country. Turkish Foreign Minister thanked Pakistan for supporting against the coup and for passing resolution in the parliament for backing democracy in Turkey.
While addressing a press conference along with Sartaj, Cavusoglu demanded that the chain of schools adminstred by Fethullah Gulen be shut down. He expressed his hope that Pakistan shall support Turkey in this regards.
