ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan lands inhot waters over the controversial remarks .Election Commission of Pakistansummoned Special Assistant for Information and Broadcasting Firdous AshiqAwan on December 9 over her controversial remarks on party funding case.
According to details, The Election Commission of Pakistan issued a noticeto Assistant Special Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan toappear before the commission in her personal capacity on December 9.
The PML-N had filed a petition against Firdous Ashiq in the ElectionCommission, accusing Firdous Ashiq of making a controversial statementregarding the Election Commission.
It is pertinent to remember that Firdous Ashiq Awan had said that theopposition was propagating to mislead in PTI funding case.
