ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant on Social Protection and Poverty AlleviationDr. Sania Nishtar says National Poverty Graduation Initiative (NPGI) andUndergraduate Scholarships Programme has been launched under the Ehsaasprogram.
Talking to Presidents of all Pakistan Women Chambers accompanied byleadership of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) inIslamabad on Tuesday, she said the initiatives were launched with fiftypercent places reserved for women and girls.
The Special Assistant said more women are required to have opportunities tolearn, earn and thrive to grow country’s economy.
The meeting took stock of key challenges and opportunities for womenentrepreneurs and explored options for supporting the Women Chambers underthe Ehsaas programme.
