LAHORE – Dr Tahirul Qadri on Monday introduced a Quranic encyclopedia basedon his five decades-long research at Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore.
Qadri, who is also the chairman of a political party Pakistan Awami Tehreek(PAT), welcomed the guests including notable scholars for gracing theoccasion.
“Alhamdullilah the Quranic Encyclopedia will be launched today and I amextremely grateful to Allah Almighty who helped me to fulfil this greatresearch work. I welcome all the worthy guests and notable scholars who areattending the launch ceremony,” the PAT chief said in a tweet.link

Qadri’s encyclopedia consists of more than five thousand topics collectedin eight big volumes and includes information about the Holy Quran.
The Pakistan Awami Tehreek describes the encyclopedia as a valued andadmirable effort to make the present and future young generationsunderstand the Holy Quran.
It is “an outcome of the continuous studies and hard work” of Dr Qadri, whocompiled the encyclopedia in 50 years.
