ISLAMABAD (APP) – Pakistan Railway (PR) has set yet another record bygenerating revenue of Rs 60.55 million in a day (December 1) from sale ofaround 51,610 passenger tickets.
According to a Railway spokesperson, the passenger tickets worth above Rs20 million were sold through e-ticketing. The record sale of tickets isexpected to bring in huge revenue to Pakistan Railway.
Earlier, the Pakistan Railway had sold record number of passenger ticketsworth Rs 50.62 million in a single day on November 27, this year.
