Former PM Nawaz Sharif files yet another plea in the Accountability Court

ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif counsel has filed a plea in theAccountability Court seeking exemption ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’spersonal appearance in the court.

While continuing with his final arguments during today’s hearing, theNational Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor said that hundreds ofmillions of rupees were transferred into the account of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif,which is an admitted and proven fact.

Earlier, NAB prosecutor’s witness Malik Tayyab had recorded his statement.

Nawaz Sharif is nominated suspect in references regarding Avenfieldproperties, Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment, while Maryam Nawazand her husband Captain (r) Safdar are nominated in reference regardingAvenfield properties alone.
