ISLAMABAD – National Database and Registration Authority will introduceonline form submission facility for “New Pakistan Housing Scheme” duringthe next week to facilitate the citizens.
Talking to PTV News, Director NADRA Rizwan Haider said that the decision ofproviding online facility has been taken keeping in view the difficultiesbeing faced by common citizens in form submission for the housing scheme.
He said it is highest priority of NADRA to make the application processmore convenient through giving facility of online application portal sothat maximum number of people in far flung areas can get easy access to theform submission facility.
The Director said NADRA has enhanced its network of mobile registrationvans in rural areas to facilitate masses for correction of new housingscheme forms and for further guidelines.
Rizwan Haider expressed the hope that all deserving people will getaffordable houses under this scheme through following merit strictly.
He said that only one person per family will be eligible to apply for thescheme, and preference will be given to candidates who do not own propertyin Pakistan, he added.
Initially, the project was launched in seven districts including Islamabad,Quetta, Sukkur, Faisalabad, Swat, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit.
