ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of hugegovernment residences comprising acres of lands, occupied by governmentfield officers of different departments.
The notice was taken on media reports that officers of differentdepartments are living in huge government residences, worth billions ofrupees, located in posh areas of the cities. Moreover, funds are alsoallocated for their annual maintenance.
Taking notice of the issue, the Chief Justice called report from all ChiefSecretaries of the provinces within ten days.
Meanwhile, female students of an Islamabad college called on Chief JusticeMian Saqib Nisar in Islamabad today.
