Renowned Pakistani singer Aima Baig has revealed that she attempted suicidein the recent past. Aima Baig made this disclosure during an interview.
She explained that due to a broken engagement with Shahbaz Shigri andallegations from a British model, she fell into depression.
She shared, “My family and friends were also suffering from depressionduring this time, and it was during this period that I attempted suicidebecause I did not want to live.”
In the interview, Aima Baig mentioned that after the incident, her fathercame to her and said that they were planning to go for Umrah (a pilgrimageto Mecca), and she had already performed Umrah three times before. This wasthe fourth time.
“When I saw the Kaaba, it felt like someone was watching me specially.When I went there and performed Umrah, my life changed. After my mother’sdeath, my father has been very supportive. May Allah give him a long life.”
