Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as the GlobalAmbassador for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
The announcement of Tendulkar’s appointment was made by the InternationalCricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday.
The ICC stated that Sachin Tendulkar will make the announcement for thestart of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup and will bring the World Cup Trophyonto the field before the opening match.
