ISLAMABAD – The Afghan Taliban delegation met Prime Minister Imran Khan inIslamabad today, GNN reported.
According to details, the two sides discussed issues related to regionalpeace and stability.
PM apprised Taliban delegation on his conversation with US President DonaldTrump regarding the resumption of peace talks.
Imran Khan said that peace in Afghanistan is crucial for regional stabilityand Pakistan will continue to provide its support for the resumption ofafghan peace process.

Earlier today, the delegation met Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi andboth agreed on the importance of early revival of the halted Afghan peaceprocess.
The foreign minister stated that Pakistan will continue to play significantrole in the resumption of Afghan peace process. He added that revival ofpeace process is highly important for regional peace and security.
